If Jesus is the light,
Mary is the small flame that never stops burning beside Him.

If Jesus is redeeming love,
Mary is comforting love.

If Jesus is the path,
Mary is the gentle hand guiding us along it.

1. Mary — The symbol of absolute trust

When the angel appeared, Mary said only two words:

“Let it be.”

Those two words contain an entire universe of surrender:

no resistance
no demand
no fear
no calculation

It is the faith of humility —
a heart fully open to the sacred.

2. Humility — the soft strength of the soul

Mary did not seek power.
Did not seek fame.
Did not seek honor.

She simply opened her heart to God’s call.

In a world full of ego,
Mary is the symbol of a heart that listens.

Humility is not smallness.
Humility is being so whole
that nothing needs to be proven.

3. A mother’s love — unconditional and quiet

Mary loved Jesus as every mother loves her child:

with heart
with tears
with silence
with endurance
with presence
with tenderness

But she also loved humanity as her children.

Thus Christianity calls her:

“Mother of Mercy.”

Her love is not loud.
Not showy.
Not demanding.

It is the love of a mother
who holds her child’s pain
without a word.

4. Mary’s sorrow — and the silence of faith

No one in Scripture suffered as Mary did.

She witnessed:

her son misunderstood
opposed
betrayed
arrested
beaten
crucified
killed

And she did not curse.

Her silence was not resignation.
It was the purest faith —
the faith of one who knows
that love is stronger than all darkness.
