“When life is lived under the light of faith, running is no longer suffering.”
Humans are born running.
Running to survive.
Running to grow.
Running not to be left behind.
Running to prove something to the world, to others, to themselves.
But the more they run,
the more they realize:
Some races do not happen in the legs —
they happen in the soul.
They run from fear.
From wounds.
From emptiness.
From themselves.
And it is these inner races
that exhaust them the most.
The sages and saints illuminated what humans fear to face
• The Buddha showed that we run because of ignorance.
• Avalokiteshvara showed that we run because our pain has not been held.
• Jesus showed that we run because we do not know we are loved.
• Mary showed that we run because we do not know where to lean.
• Allah showed that we run because we carry what is not ours.
• The God of Abraham showed that we run because we want to be perfect.
• Dharma showed that we run because we walk the wrong path.
• The Dao showed that we run because we force life to obey us.
• And nonreligious faith showed that we run because we lose our inner light.
Each sage did not give a rule.
They gave a mirror —
a mirror reflecting the hidden corners of the human mind.
They did not tell us to stop running.
They told us to understand why we run.
And once we understand,
we no longer run in panic.
But thankfully, humans are not only fear — they carry something sacred
No matter how society changes,
no matter how chaotic the era becomes,
humans always carry a seed in their soul:
a belief in goodness, truth, and the noble —
beyond material life.
This seed may be buried.
Forgotten.
Covered by work, pressure, fear, wounds.
But it never dies.
And when humans reach the bottom,
when they collapse,
when they no longer know where to run,
the seed awakens.
They turn to:
• the Buddha for awakening
• Avalokiteshvara for comfort
• Jesus for love
• Mary for support
• Allah for surrender
• the God of Abraham for guidance
• Dharma for the right path
• the Dao for release
• and themselves — for the inner light when they belong to no religion
They turn to faith.
Not to escape.
But to be healed.
The more modern society becomes, the louder the call of faith
The more modern, busy, successful humans become,
the easier it is to lose themselves.
And in those moments, they realize:
money cannot heal fear
success cannot heal emptiness
speed cannot heal exhaustion
comfort cannot heal loneliness
Only faith can reach the deepest place in the soul.
Faith is not religion.
Faith is light.
A light that:
does not force
does not judge
does not demand
does not condition
It simply shines —
so we can see the path.
And under the light of faith, running is no longer suffering
Running is no longer escape.
No longer fear.
No longer strain.
No longer proving.
Running becomes:
a journey home
a journey of growth
a journey of returning to oneself
a journey walked with the One we trust
or with the inner light, if we follow no religion
Under the light of faith,
running becomes a mystery:
We run — but not alone.
We run — but not in panic.
We run — but not to collapse.
We run — because we know there is a place to return to.
And that place —
the eternal refuge of humanity —
is called Faith.
“When the heart has a place to rest,
the human being no longer runs alone.”
A FINAL INVITATION — FOR THE ONE SEARCHING FOR FAITH
“If you cannot find faith anywhere, go home.”
If you still do not know where faith lives,
if you read all these stories and still feel empty,
if no teaching has yet touched your heart —
Do not worry.
Faith does not always come from scriptures, doctrines, rituals.
Sometimes, faith comes from things very near, very ordinary, very human.
And if you cannot find faith anywhere,
go home.
Go back to the place where people love you.
Go back to where you laughed, cried, grew.
Go back to where you do not need to prove anything.
Go back to where you can be yourself —
tired, fragile, unready.
And if you are fortunate…
if your mother is still here…
You will realize:
In her, there is always light.
In her, there is always a path.
In her, there is always a piece of faith
you thought you had lost.
Not because she preaches.
Not because she speaks great truths.
Not because she understands philosophy.
But because a mother’s love
is the most sacred thing you have ever touched.
And sometimes, just looking at her,
just hearing her voice,
just sitting beside her for a moment…
You will feel something small, warm, gentle —
like a spark.
That spark is faith.
Not religious faith.
But the faith of the heart.
The faith of a soul that knows it is not alone.
The faith of someone who knows they still have a home.
And when you find that spark —
no matter how small —
you will see:
Running is no longer suffering.
Running becomes a mystery.
Because you are living under the light of faith —
a light that begins
in your own home.
