EPILOGUE — THE DOOR THAT NEVER CLOSES

The young man walked far from the hermitage.

But the farther he walked, the clearer he saw:

The journey did not end when he left the hermitage.
The journey truly began when he left it.

A sentence from Jiddu echoed:

“The ending is the beginning.”

The ending is the beginning.

And so…

his journey opened—
not on the mountain,
not in the hermitage,
not in books,
not in the teacher’s words…

but in every moment of living,
every step,
every breath,
every seeing.

And you — the one reading these words

You may have never visited the hermitage.
Never met the teacher.
Never walked down the mountain.

But that does not matter.

Because the hermitage lives in the moment you pause
and look into yourself.

Because the teacher lives in the clarity beginning to bloom within you.

Because the light lives in the seeing awakening inside you.

If something in this journey touched you,
it is not because the story is beautiful,
nor because the young man is special,
nor because the teacher is extraordinary.

It is because
the light within you recognized itself.

If you ask: “What should I do next?”

The answer is simple:

Live.
See.
Be awake.
Walk.

Do not follow the teacher.
Do not follow the young man.
Do not follow the story.
Do not follow any readymade path.

Follow the truth living in you.

And one day,
when you look back,
you will smile and understand:

You never needed any other candle.
Because you were the candle.
